BELOW ARE STEP-BY-STEP DESCRIPTIONS OF THE PROCESS & PAYMENTS MODEL TO ORDER A CUSTOM METAL CARPORT OR BUILDING FROM DROPKICK
Step 1) Design Your Building
You either select an existing template and customize it OR contact us to request a quote and we create the initial design based on your description. Â
Together, we work out style, sizing, color, site prep, etc. When we have the perfect building, the way you want it, we will manually create a paper order for your building.  Â
Step 2) Order & Deposit
We place your order with the manufacturer and collect an initial down payment from you. The down payment will be between 10% to 15% depending on the building you chose.Â
Step 3) Order Processing
We submit the order to the manufacturer. The order enters the processing department where they verify that we didn't ask for something weird like all right angles.Â
You'll receive a message from both the manufacturer and Dropkick Carports to let you know that the design has been approved (as-is) and is being sent to manufacturing.Â
Step 4) Manufacturing
Orders are sent to the nearest manufacturing plant to begin fabrication.
Step 5) Scheduling
You will be contacted (by the install team) to accept and confirm installation appointment slots.
Step 6) Loading & Delivery
Once Fabrication is complete, the Installation crew load your order (and components) and proceed to deliver.
Step 7) Installation
Upon arrival the crew will check-in with the customer, inspect the site, unload the material and begin the installation.
Please see our Site Preparation Checklist for specification on how your installation site needs to be prepared. Â
Site preparation is crucial to ensuring a smooth installation. Failure to adequately prepare your site could result in additional labor charges or even a return trip fee which is either $150 USD or %5 of the building price whichever is higher.
Step 8) Collect Final Balance
The final balance is collected immediately upon installation.
Our scheduling department will have already discussed payment upon delivery and any issues due to an unprepared lot or one that is not level.Â
Please have the payment ready prior to the crew arriving. We accept money orders and cashier’s checks along with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
